Renovated in January 2013 by someone with excellent taste, perhaps the lovely owner who was ever so helpful. The hotel is in a residence built in the 1700s and has a few impressive paintings gracing its walls. It is in a street away from the action which could be good or bad depending on your tastes....no views of anything but really with all of the gorgeous decor one does not need an external view. The bathrooms in particular are WOW!

  We were delighted to spend three nights at this small hotel. We were treated as welcome house guests. Both Clara and Samuela were charming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. We thought it was nearer to the town centre than had been indicated. it didn't take us long at all to get any of the attractions. Clara and Sam - Within 30 minutes of arriving, we were given breakfast and coffee and were taken thoroughly through all that Florence can offer. Not only did they take us through it, they organised the tours for us. Breakfast was fantastic, especially in the variety and quality of the foods. Probably one of the better breakfasts offered for a room of this rate. The room (Rosso Rosa) was very clean and had ample space. Well decorated. Also, staff are very attentive.
