  We stayed at Fabbrica for 6 nights. It was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the ground floor apartment. It is comfortable, well equipped and quite large. The proprietors, Giovanna and Giuseppe are very pleasant and helpful people. We had planned to use this as a home base for trips to Florence, Pisa, and other spots in Tuscany. We did not rent a car, but for our purposes, that was f - We stayed here (in the main villa) for two days in June and had an amazing time. First, the views of the nearby towns and the countryside from the windows of the villa are amazing. The property is set upon some elevation so it gets a nice cool breeze even when it is hot elsewhere.   I booked a room in Castello di Mammoli, but reception is located in Hotel Villa Volpi, where asked us if we want to stay in Hotel Villa Volpi instead in Castello di Mammoli, because they have free room. Hotel Villa Volpi is amazing and if Castello di Mammoli is half that good I recommed it to everyone.
