  La Corte degli Angeli is a fantastic hotel, in the very centre of Lucca, in a quiet street. Our room was really big and cosy and with shutters (very important for me, as I need obscurity to sleep. Couldn't have had abetter experience. The room and hotel premises were clean andimpressive.   We were in one of the apartments. The location is amazing. From the lounge/dining area you look out over the Piazza and can enjoy the buzz. There are some pretty good restaurants around, one of which at least does take away (none of them has a view like the apartment). It's very clean, there are oodles of towels and the hot water is hot. What more do you want? 5 star hotel it isn't, but value for money it is exceptional. Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath.
