  We had a fantastic stay at Villa Cheli! Our room had direct access to the front balcony and for two days we felt we had our own private Villa in Italy! In addition to the kind staff, and nice accommodations, we had one of the best dinners of our trip through Italy at Villa Cheli! We had a minor problem in our bathroom and brought it to the staff's attention in the morning as we were leaving for our day's outing. When we returned everything was taken care of. Absolutely great service and value for your money.

  A very good price for this type of hotel. really beautiful fournitures and design in a tipical lucca's house. excellent - the staffs were very friendly and we had exelent time. the room is well decorated and the location is the best.

  We stayed in the Residanza-part of the hotel (another building 50m. down the street). It was a large room, big double bed and a big bathroom. Nice and quiet! - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The choice of food and drinksfor breakfast was huge. One review refers to the location being a long way from the centre of Lucca - this is nonsense, it takes no more than 5 - 8 minutes to walk to Piazza San Michele - an excellent location.

  The staff were very helpful and spoke great English! They provided us with a map of the city and pointed out the main attractions, they helped us make reservations in another city for the following night, made a suggestion for entertainment at night that we totally enjoyed.
