  M just back from a trip to Italy and had stayed 3 nights at Casa Santa Sofia. Biggest advantage and my reason for selecting this place was the location. Its at a walking distance from Metro station Cavour, which is the first stop after Termini on Blue line. So its very convenient to reach the hotel from Airport. Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).   When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready). The neighborhood is safe, lively - The lady welcoming us was wonderful catered for all our needs which was sadly only one overnight stay .We had our son with us who unfortunately had broken his leg 5 days beofre and in cast on crutchesno lift was a challenge but we coped and enjoyed the stay in our neat room .Supplied coffee facilities and personal key to get back in for Ah energency .Would recommend the view to coloseumwas awesome other sites wallking distance and we were given good tips for transport and resturants BelFredDrew

  It's probably the best location. You can reach most of the attractions on foot. Tram 8 from Trastevere Regional stop is a perfect connection from Fiumicino airport. The room was elegantly furnished , clean and comfortable. We also had a nice street view. Paola and her family was so sincere that , you just feel like their guests, not customers. I highly rec - This family run apartment was the perfect place for us to stay in Rome. The rooms were a great size and very comfy beds. Location was perfect, across the road from all the great bars and restaurants of Trastevere, walking distance to Old town and the tram at your door step. The breakfast was fantastic and changed daily with new treats to try and the family could not do enough to help you with everything you needed and any question about Rome. Highly recommend this place.

Tram, bus station and taxi station are just outside, supermarket and many restaurants are 3 minutes away. M - The hospitality of the employees was excelent, congratulations. Be received after a long day with smiles, snacks and fine drinks is awesome. The place is also nice, clean and well localized near a lot of great restaurants, Wine bars and Tratorias. There´s some noise from the streets, but it didn´t bother me. Connnie and her brother-in-law are the best!!!

  We stayed with two kids }5 and 8) only for one-night stop on our way to U.S. but definitely will use it again when we go to Roma for few days to see the city - perfect place in city center, nearby is a small plaza with fountain - authentic feeling of Roma's "genius loci" -walking distance to Colosseum (you can see it from window), DiTrevi fountain... hva folk sier » etc. - simple B&B, clean, enough space, all you really need is there -warm and kind welcome from Roxana (even if we arrived a bit later than exp - I loved everything. You can see the colluseum from the window! The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff couldn't of helped us more. Carried our bags, helped with maps and booked taxis for us. The breakfast was exceptional and there was always extra sandwiches included for our lunch.
