  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... hva folk sier » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  Everything was great - very nice and helpul staff - design of rooms (8) and whole hotel, location - you can walk to everything because this hotel is situated in the middle of Rome, just 10 steps to Via del Corso, 2 minutes to Piazza Venezia, 2 minutes to Pantheon, 2 minutes to Fontana di Trevi, 5 minutes to Piazza Navona, 10 minutes to Colosseo, 1... hva folk sier » 2 minutes to Spanish steps. Via del Corso is perfect for shopping from Piazza Venezia up to Piazza Popolo - you can walk whole street for shopping and - Perfect location for seeing all the relevant sights. A few mins from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colloseum. Only a 15 min walk to The Vatican. The hotel rooms are suberb,very modern and clean with remarkably comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and the shower is so relaxing. The staff are really out of this world. They made us feel like we were family and could not do enough for us.   Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... hva folk sier » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
