  I stayed for two nights with my wife and two kids 5 and 11 before heading back to america the room was great and spacious for a family room with nice size bathroom.very clean a and well furnished.The owners and all the staff were very nice and really helpful in every way they could. We really loved the horse back riding we did with Michael he was ... hva folk sier » very patient with all off us and it was a perfect way to end a great vacation in Ireland and great that you are only Ten minutes to Shannon airport. I - We arrived a little late in the evening but Noreen gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. We stayed in the family bedroom which had one room with two single beds connected to a room with a double bed. We were very comfortable. We rode horses the next morning and Micheal and their two sons helped us and we went on a tour of the farm. The family was great, the food tastey, and the accommodations very comfortable.

  We loved this guest house. The antique furnishings were lovely, parlors comfortable, bar well-stocked. There was a nice shady courtyard to sit in on the hot day we were there, very pleasant. Our room was very clean, it was an unusual heat-wave, and Gillian scrambled to get us a fan, which was most appreciated, very accommodating.   Staff was friendly, service was impeccable. Earl of Thormond restaurant had fabulous food and attentive wait staff. Gluten free options available. Breakfast was delicious as well with many options. Falconry lesson was a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable handler. TJ was a Harris Falcon and not intimidating. The grounds are wonderful and well kept. You just can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are large and have heated mirrors so they never fogged up. The staff is hospitable and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to take advantage of all the amenities.
