  Very comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. My 11yr old son loved the pool, where he spent a lot of his time. The bedrooms were very well equipped with all you would need, plus hotel food was very tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful too. Will certainly be back here! - Good sized room,easy access to main roads and town. Relaxing place aft... hva folk sier » er hard days work nearby. Nice bar food @ decent pint or two@have puff'fresh air, outside. Great to do your lenghts in pool before breakfast@in evening. Also great value.

  I stayed at the Hillgrove for 3 nights with my mum and youngest sister, nothing was a bother to any member of the super staff in paticular the ladies who look after the rooms, we were provided with extra pillows and the room was serviced each day, the food was delicious and we swam twice and enjoyed the outside hot tub in the middle of November, t... hva folk sier » hat was our second visit, another sister joined us in March for an overnight stay and we said then we would return for a longer break and we were not - We stayed here for 3 nights & it was fantastic. All the staff were helpful & friendly, couldn't do more to make your stay better. The food was delicious & good value for money. The big chair etc outside were good fun. Plenty to keep the kids occupied, definitely family friendly. The swimming pool is brilliant we spent a good bit of time there. Also I had a massage in the spa, so relaxing I'd recommend it to anyone. Very happy.

Our breakfasts were to order and wonderfully filling and sustaining. Our room was quiet and comfortable and very clean. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived to the time we left.
