  This pension was fabulous! The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, in a wonderful setting and with a friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate on the terrace under a trellis of grape vines. Prices are a bargain- our dinner wine and shared dessert for three 36 euros. We will come back to Hungary just to stay at this place again! Oh - The size of our 2 person suite was great and we were pleased that there was a small kitchenette in the room, this was half separated from the bedroom which is handy with little ones. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.

  I loved everything. I loved the location. It was in a quite neighborhood and we had a lovely view from our balcony. We came early and had no problems checking in early. The owners are absolutely fantastic! They were kind and compassionate. Within a few days we left crying because it was like leaving family.   Located on the hilltop in a nice quiet residential area just behind the town centre. Our room was right at the top and had a lovely view of the nearby mountains. The host/owner of the hotel was extremely friendly, helpful and one of the most pleasant we've met in a Hungarian hotel. Panorama Hotel is home -like, very friendly and comfortable pensione type accomodation. My room was huge, with a balcony. I couldnt quite see the town from it. breakfasts were plentiful and good quality. Hosts were wonderful. Very good value for money.

  The owner (the man) was very friendly (knows German and Hungarian, his wife knows English+.) It was VERY clean! The bedding smelled freshly washed. We slept in the 4-person unit that's in the tower. It had 2 stories, the top with 2 single beds, and the lower with 1 double bed. We had access to a refrigerator. The location is excellent. Tokaj is a... hva folk sier » neat little town and is a short walk from this panzio. We drove from here to see some of the castles and vineyards in the area. We really enjoyed it. - We received a warm welcome from our landlord, and the guesthouse is just at the end of this small town. His wife, who speaks English, was away, but he speaks good German. He recommended one of the many wine houses for a tasting, and he also arranged for us to visit a barrel maker in his small factory.
