Opened in June 2012, Hotel Kelep is located in green surroundings 200 metres from the banks of the Bodrog River and 2 km from the centre of Tokaj. All rooms have a balcony. Free Wi-Fi and a spa area are available. The restaurant servers Hungarian specialities made from local ingredients, as well as home-made cheese. You can also taste locally made chocolate and a wide range of wines and spirits. You can park your car for free on site, rent bicycles at Hotel Kelep or take advantage of the water sports facilities. The on-site spa area includes a sauna and a hot tub. The Tisza River for fishing is 1 km away and the ruins of Rakoczi Castle can be found 1.5 km from Hotel Kelep.

We had a nice time at Hotel Kelep. The bed is very comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly, definitely value for money, the chef makes delicious food (the best is the halászlé) and of course The Vine... This is the place where people can experience The Hungarian hospitality! Well done Hotel Kelep! I'm sure we'll meet again next year around the time of Hegyalja Fest... The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast was good, not so much variety but plenty. They have a beautiful terrace where you can eat and a playground for children. The staff was ok, provided the information we asked and gave us a city map.
alle vurderinger » This is a new hotel so it has a very clean impression and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is descent. There are some sport facilities with sauna and jacuzzi. The backside rooms are perfect for a quiet night. I did'nt try the restaurant in the evening, but the breakfast was excellent !!! The bar-tender was a great personality ..... Nice, clean and ordally rooms, everything just fine ..... This hotel has a very friendly staff in a new facility. The breakfast was very nice, and our room, which consisted of two bedrooms and large central bathroom was very nice. The hotel is recently opened (2012) so it is still very ner and nice. The room was perfect (familysuite) and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for the money. Clean, modern hotel. Just besides the road - hard to miss. Nice restaurant close by. Friendly staff.. 20 minute walk to the center of Tokaj.. Very spaceous hotel with spaceous room and very good equipment. They also have a nice playground for kids. - clean and tidy - rather quiet - tasty breakfast -not very far from Tokaj. design and comfort of the rooms; very nice and helpful personnel. Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, and cleen room. The service was excellent and the staff was most co operative. Staff: very friendly and service-oriented (bar) staff. nice, clean and confortable rooms; good restaurant. The room was large and very comfortable. Everything. The hotel is relative new, located near a forest. The person at the front desk was vey kind showing us the room and giving many details about the hotel. Parking New hotel. The rooms were clean. The position of the hotel is not central and in the opposite direction of the wineries. Tokaj is not a very big so this should not be a problem if you have a car. I haven't seen any taxi around - but we only stayed for one night. Wi fi is not working in the room. Somewhat remote from the center of Tokaj (+/-2km) so you might need a car. The airco was making noises even when switched off which can be disturbing. The rooms on the street side can be noisy as there is some heavy traffic driving along. A surprising amount of road noise at this location on the main road outside of the town of Tokaj. The wifi did not work in the room, but did work near the lobby very well. The very large bathroom seemed silly with such a small showe in it. The breakfast could have been a little bit better, with more to choose from. The hotel is located outside of Tokaj. You need transport to get into the city center. You must have better choice of food as beefsteak, rumstek, gulash etc. No English language TV... no CNN , BBC etc... bummer... Staff is friendly but very cumbersome. They sure need some practice how to get closer to their guests. Bathroom would need some general cleaning (sinks, ...). -not much information about the region and turistic tips. some of the rooms are on the side with the road with noisy trafic during the night. There was nothing not to like.. Everything was was fabulous. Lack of information on surroundings (what to see, how to get there ...). We couldn't use the balcony as it was right next to a major road. The lack of any information in the room (flyers, booklets, etc.), as usual, about the phone numbers, city, hotel, emergency situations. No decorations in the rooms creates a too severe atmosphere similar to a monastery. But, the worst thing, was the food. Trying to copy international cuisine, the result is a low quality food, with no taste and extremely expensive. Local famous traditions in the field can be used. Cold in the room Transfer (taxi) arranged by hotel to center (1,6km= walking distance) for 2000HUF (7€) one way is overpriced. The fact they had managed to loose our booking The Wi Fi was appalling The Air Conditioning did not work (34 C) The breakfast was truly appalling, No Coffee, Tea water was tepid - did not need a spoon it could be stirred with your index finger We have stayed in over 26 hotels this year to date and this is the worst this year and possibly ever. The cost for the service was ridiculous. they did not cleaned the room at all (we stayed for two days!).
