  The hosts were very helpful and acted more like old friends than hotel owners, many thanks to you both. They lent me a local very detailed map for my day trips which saved me doing a lot of work. The breakfast was a feast every morning, being plentiful and varied. I wish them well for the future and highly recommend the Eifelsicht to my friends ... hva folk sier » and everyone else. Tommy - The owners are so happy and relaxed and will do as much as possible to make your stay comfortable. View from our room was excellent and room was clean and spacious. Beds are brilliant and so comfy and the shower is so refreshing. We stayed here for a few days in August whilst visiting for the Spa grand prix - handy for getting to Spa for the race.

  This was a very nice "Hotel Garni" on the outskirts of Essen. It was surrounded by nice countryside, an equestrian center, tennis courts, and a nearby river. I was there for a convention at the Messe, and it's a very pleasant 5 mile drive to the convention center.
