  My flight was delayed, so I got to Munich after midnight and was concerned to be confronted with locked doors at Hotel Achterbahn. Fortunately, there was a phone number for a staff member. I obviously woke up Ramona when I called her on her at home, but she stayed very friendly and provided the code numbers for the front door. De - Good proximity to the main station. Nice little cafe, good food, rich breakfast with decent coffee. Friendly staff who were willing to listen to our feedback and comments. Love the design inside the hotel with the different themes and decorations of the many angels, old photographs, artifacts, quotes on the wall and the small heart shapes you find here and there.   The room was very large, there was even a small kitchen area with some free beverages in the refrigerator. The room was very clean, and modern-looking. The hotel is close to the U-Bahn and is extremely easy to reach from the main station. The staff was very professional and friendly and spoke great english and also russian.
