I do not normally blog about hotels.
But Matiss was a superb host, the apartment was clean, stunning, secure (4 bolted doors to access), a gorgeous little courtyard.
It was basic, but at £50 a day for your own place what do you expect, had a small kitchen, bathroom, when we ran out of linen (wet towels) Matiss dropped more.

The apartment was clean, tidy, newly renovated, ver well designed, in
short, the reality totally reflected the photos on the web-site. THe
room smelled fresh, neat and tidy, the location was also very good,
close to UBahn, with a supermarket in 2mins walk. The apartment had a
tiny kitchen for cooking, which I never used, but if you are travelling
with friends, it may come handy. The yard is closed, so it is really
very safe and very quiet.

I was placed in a room with three guys who didn't understand hostel etiquette and who came in at 2.30am talking and laughing as loudly as possible. After a couple of hours of putting up with this I went downstairs to ask the guy at reception if he could do anything about it. He very kindly transferred me to another room. I was so grateful to him, I don't know his name but he ensured the rest of my stay was a pleasant one. Thanks!!!

Lovely welcoming staff.
We had a standard double room with a very comfortable bed. The room was nicely spacious with an apple computer with Internet and ipod speaker doc.
The shower was stocked with White Company products and and Asprey soaps. Very nice!
They have a great do not disturb policy and let each guest just enjoy their time away.

The Casa Camper Hotel has thought of everything. It good sized & very comfortable attractive rooms with large windows looking over Berlin. It's very functional bathrooms. This apartment is the best way to stay in Berlin, better than any hotel, the location was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well appointed, with a dishwasher and washing machine, for which we were very grateful after being on a cycling holiday. Highly recommended.
