  Great location, lovely authentic Parisian hotel feel (five floors of winding staircase); little balcony and view over trees onto the square below and of rooftops; a block or so from the Metro on a good central line, the accessibility of the restaurants, cafés, bars and designer shops of the Marais. On the fifth floor - no issue with noise despite cafés and bars below. - the location was incredible. the hotel was clean, very pretty and quaint, and the rooms and bathroom were a good size considering other hotels in Paris. We had enough room for two large suitcases and were still able to walk around vry comfortably in our room. The view from our balcony was of Hotel de Ville. I cannot stress enough on the amazing location this hotel was in!

  Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

  For Paris this was a great value for money hotel! The quality was excellent, room was large, clean and well isolated. We didn' t have breakfast so we don't know if it is worth it.   The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine. We did not speak french but this did not interfere with having a wonderful time in Paris. People were very und - Brilliant location, with in easy walking distance of most central sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel. We felt our room and bathroom were quite spacious for an attic room in Paris. The price we paid was very competitive. We were at the back of the hotel and it was quiet at night.
