  Fantastic location, in a funky part of the city; clean & simple rooms. Stayed one night in the double comfort and one night in the double standard - only difference was a slightly larger bed in the comfort. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. - The hotel is located in the heart of the Marais. It is an old h... hva folk sier » otel which was changed ownership and name and was recently completely refurbished. The amenities are basic but more than adequate. Price/value makes this a great address in Paris for the money conscious.

  Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. We didn't opt for breakfast, but Julian patisserie was right out front and had the best pastry... hva folk sier » , baguettes, and coffee we had on our whole trip. Also, the staff was incredibly charming, funny and good-natured. - intriguing, almospheric interior. great location, easy to get to to tourist destinations, but close to the marais for socialising. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

  The location of this hotel is perfect, in the centre of Paris yet in the peace and quiet of L'Isle de Louis. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a triple room at the top of the building. We had a huge comfortable bed and a bed settee. The room had a little balcony and a large bathroom with a bath! Very comfortable and somewhat elegant. Superior room definitely worth the extra euros as standard rooms are somewhat tight. I have stayed at each hotel on Ile St. Louis, and definitely prefer this.

  What a wonderful hotel! I go to Paris a couple of times a year, and have tried out different hotels, but now I think I will stay here every time. The superbly restored old building with its rough old beams, the warm welcome, the calm and quiet in the heart of busy Paris, and the beautiful room with a lovely bed and quality bed linen - everything w... hva folk sier » as just perfect. Not to mention the location, close to everything, 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro, 10 minutes to the Notre Dame, and loads of gre - The hotel's location is perfect. Situated in one of the prettiest and most central areas in Paris, but incredibly private and quiet. The design and interior is a perfect mix of traditional (exposed stone & timber) and contemporary. Very airy, light and spacious. The room had the biggest and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate. 5 stars all round.
