Everything was perfect! From the moment we checked in, we were very pleased with the staff and how attentive they were to our needs. The room was quite large and very clean, the bathroom very modern (the tv was a nice touch!) and breakfast very delicious!

The location is the best in Helsinki right by the harbour. The hotel is a luxury boutique sized hotel. The rooms are large and very nicely appointed with big bathrooms. Ask for a harbour view room. It has a decent spa. The Havis restaurant and the very old Sundmans Krog brasserie are lovely. Overall this hotel is smart, with a lovely lounge and nice relaxed atmosphere. We just needed a quiet place where we could cook food, and rest between shopping and sightseeing, without carpets on the floor. Since we both have to avoid certain foods, the cooking and opportunity to keep food cold was essential. It was very cheap compared to other self-catering options, and the windows effectively shut out noise from the streets. There wasn't an endless party going on as in some hostels.

I have never stayed at hostel before cheapsleep, that is why I can not compare it with any other hostel, but my overall experience was great, nice clean a bit noisy hostel, but if you there for ice hockey as a fan you dont really care about noise. I had the pleasure of meeting Oliver(manager) who was great!!! Great location to get to Hartwall Arena, 15 min walk, or tram 7B(7min)
