The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. As the category of rooms we booked were full, we were upgraded to a better category and as a result, probably we were better served and standard of rooms were better. Notwithstanding, we do appreciate being upgraded. -

The staff are English speaking and go out of their way to be helpful, the rooms are well appointed and have all facilities. There is a PC in every room which I found particularly useful. when I went away for a weekend to Beijing they were flexible enough to accommodate me. This is the second time I have been to Shenzhen and I had no hesitation in choosing the hotel again for my visit

I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -
