  Very short walk to Tourist Buses to terracotta warrior site and Hushan. Just walk towards rail station, cross under city wall then bear right and you will see the good and inexpensive tourist buses. The streets around are little hectic but you will therefore appreciate more the tranquility within the nice hotel. Breakfast is good catering for both... hva folk sier » western and oriental tastes. Unlike some 5 star hotels, you don't get over-serviced. The service is just right. We had a wonderful stay and can highl - The room was great. It was comfortable and quiet with all amenities (including a bath). Its located next to the train station and next to the airport shuttle bus, so very convenient. The area around the hotel however is crowded and somewhat seedy. The city wall is nearby and the best attraction.

  Everything! Location is perfect - in the center of the city but at he same time in an own courtyard with so much silence and calmness. The rooms are designed very well, its style is connected with the history of the building. Beds very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean. The stuff of both Grand Mercure and Sofitel are extremely polite helpful and professionals. They arrang - The hotel was well located, comfortable and clean; it also had a quite interesting historical and stylish aspect to it. The location is excellent -- one can walk to most of the sites within old city walls comfortably (e.g., the walk to the Southern entrance to the city wall is around 30 minutes). The hotel's staff, though not always fluent in English, was eager to help and friendly. The taxi ride to the Qin army and other sites, organized by the hotel's concierge, was easy to book and well-p
