The owners Gerald and Abbie live in the hostel and take extra care to keep a high standard of comfort, care and extra service. I prefer them over anything more ritzy but where the owner is never on site so you are neglected or just a number.

Country View Motor Inn was a pleasant surprise. We needed a place to stay on our way to Vancouver and this was convenient, comfortable and the staff were great! We used the pool and hot tub, went for a relaxing walk and went to a nearby pub for supper. -

The lodge is warm and inviting. We had two wonderful and well presented meals in the picturesque dining room. All the staff were just genuinely warm and friendly to us.
