I had an early appt at the Edmonton Clinic and live 3 hours away. It was so nice to be able to have a good nights sleep, get up and walk to my appt and not gave to worry about parking. The staff was excellent. The room was clean.

The staff were very friendly and went beyond the service they needed to provide us with to make our stay very special. The two dinners we ate in the hotel restaurants were excellent. Walking around inside the hotel looking at the historical decor in the different rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. -

How quiet my room was. I was close to the elevators and was afraid that noise would keep me up, but I could hardly hear the hallway. I'm in my 40's and have never stayed at a hostel. Honestly
thought I would "have to make the best of it" but wanted to
try a new experience. Staff were very helpful and I met tons of friendly
folks to chat and spend the evening with. I would actually chose this
option in the future vs. Staying in a hotel if I'm by myself. Next
time I'd bring along a bottle of wine to share in the common room!

The room was very large and having a full kitchen and full size table was a plus for the cost of the room. We had 3 adults and 2 teen agers staying in our room and we did not feel cramped for space at all. The view was great. Room was very clean and staff were accomodating and friendly. It deserve more than 3 stars.
There is superstore and McDonald 24hrs across the street.
There is bus station in front of Tommy Romans just few meters away from the hotel. You can take bus 6 or 80 to reach southgate centre and metro station to take you to the downtown.
