I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley. The beds were really comfortable and the room is super quiet. I couldn't hear other guests in the hallways at all. I wo

The stay was a stress free experience. The staff recommended places to go for night entertainment and we enjoyed a good evening without effort. The room was clean and very comfortable and the continental breakfast was enjoyable. I would definitely stay there again. -

This hotel is new, well-maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well laid out and clean. The fitness centre is above par when compared to many similar hotels. The breakfast is also better than most. Excellent stay. -

The staff was very friendly. The room was amazing, very large and clean. The restaurant was very good. It is close to Rexall Place by taxi. -

We had an overnight stay with an early morning flight. Comfort, good shower and internet access in a quiet location were priorities. We also wanted a couple of hours at West Edmonton mall for shopping. The excellent friendly and helpful staff capped off a stay that fulfilled all of our requirements; in fact exceeded our expectations. -

Stayed for 4 nights. Staff was friendly and quick. Registration took only a few minutes. Restaurant is really good and affordable. Cable TV is excellent. Iron, fan, bunch of towels, hygeine products are included. Cleaning is everyday. There are two buttons of housekeeping and do not disturb which I found very convinient. -

I had an early appt at the Edmonton Clinic and live 3 hours away. It was so nice to be able to have a good nights sleep, get up and walk to my appt and not gave to worry about parking. The staff was excellent. The room was clean.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, right from check-in to the servers in the restaurant. I was meeting someone who ended up being delayed so I had supper alone and the servers made me feel so welcome. I liked the sitting area near the lobby, it gave me somewhere to go other than my room. -
