We visited Bansko and Pamporovo in summer time and Borovets is the best by far.
First, most of the hotels are done building, so the village is quiet and beautiful.
Surroundings very nice to walk by, the children found raspberry in woods.

close to the main road and about 5 minutes walk to the piste. We stayed
at the Clover Apartment. Very comfortable to come back to after a hard
day on the piste! Wifi wasn't working the first day, but it was
