The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. As dated as the decor was it was nice to have a spa bath and a sauna in the room. There are ongoing renovations at the hotel and it should be much nicer within 6 months. -

tiny you cannot pass your partner standing, one person has to sit on

This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach).
Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.
Breakfast was excellent with rolls, bread, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, tea or juice.
