Hotel Herc was a really quaint hotel with a friendly staff. The location was really unique - while close to all of the action, it felt isolated because it was at the top of the hill. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They have good internet throughout the hotel. The breakfast was consistently good and felt more like a B&B than a hotel.

Though the reception closes at 10:30 PM, the staff was up and waiting for us until we arrived at 01:00 AM, a BIG + for that.
We will definitely book Villa Wien next time we come to Sarajevo.

We were very impressed with the hotel in all respects. The staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent - 5 minutes from the old town. I would definately recommend the hotel - Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly, and a really comfortable setting for a woman travelling alone.

I arrived much later than expected to Sarajevo, but despite having to wake up the owners, they were very understanding! They made me feel very welcome and cooked me a lovely breakfast (special eggs for Easter too!) They even looked after my bags after my check out time so I could explore Sarajevo a bit more before moving on. -

motels garage(you have to book it). Room and bathroom was clean and
cosy. You can also enjoy on the terrasse pointing to the Baščaršija. It
has the best location to explore the "old town"(baščaršija,
svržina kuća, gazi-husref begova džamija).
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO ALL VISITORS OF Sarajevo.

It's easy to get to the city centre by taxi (it only costs about 3 Euros and takes a few minutes).
Free parking is available outside the hotel.
Room service is very good in the hotel and the breakfast is also quite nice.
Sarajevo is just one of the best places to go to in Europe and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a low budget yet good quality service.

First off, Irma and Eldin (I'm sorry if the spelling is incorrect guys!) made our staff that much better. They were both extemely friendly, and gave us fantastic advice on great restaurants, things to do, etc. - Eldin even held up traffic to take a few pictures of us with the Latin Bridge.
