Naira is situated in the centre of the colonial city of La Paz, at the foot of the Real Mountains. It offers country-style rooms one block from the witches market. The spacious rooms at Hostal Naira have bright fabrics and wooden furniture, with large windows and patios. All are equipped with cable TV and en suite bathrooms, and have a small dining table. A continental breakfast with fruit salads, pastries and natural juices is served daily. The restaurant and bar serves regional cuisine and a variety of cocktails. Guests can make use of the free Wi-Fi in the business centre. They can also book tickets and regional excursions at the Naira´s travel agency or 24-hour front desk. Hostal Naira is 5 km from El Alto Airport, and one block to the picturesque San Francisco Church. It is also located a few kilometers from the Amazonian Rainforest and Lake Titicaca.

Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location was great, right next to San Francisco church and square and a short walk to most attractions. The attached restaurant was great value for money & attracted customers from all over. The included breakfast was really good. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Central location in the main tourist area. A quiet sanctuary in a busy city. The room and shower were good. Very good breakfast buffet. The staff were very helpful. The dinner in the cafe was very enjoyable, tasty and reasonable price.

Has a great restaurant next door that serves good food. I would certainly use this Hostel again. Excellent valuefor price. Geat location. Staff very helpfull: we arrived very early, exhausted, the room was not available yet, but they provided a spare room for us to rest. It is such a beautiful hotel! The breakfast was wonderful, the staff was so very helpful. And it was very affordable. If only all hotels could be this way!. The room finishing is very chic, the water is hot, there is even a hairdryer. Location is near the very center of La Paz and close to almost everything. Our room was above the restaurant area. There was some noise, but it didn't bother us as the place closed early - and since we were so near the restaurant the wifi worked in our room! Light sleepers should ask for a room away from the restaurant. Large beers were advertised in the cafe menu but you could only order small beers which were relatively more expensive. This was for the three nights we were there. Asked for a mtrimonal double and got a triple room. wall to wall carpet in the room was dirty. Smoking is allowed in the main dining room, we were in the non-smoking area, but we had to move closer to the door to avoid the cigarette smoke, not successful, the smoke was so bad we had to rush through our dinner. While we were there another guest was complaining and left before his dinner was served. It was very cold in my room at night. Desk person, while polite, was not terribly helpful. Between you and them, my first reservation was lost. The restaurant is not so good. They are really slow and the food is to expensive for what it's worth. The staff spoke little to no English and were not helpful with booking tours or providing advice. Our room was above a courtyard where the restaurant was so it was quite loud until about 11pm, and again in the morning when breakfast started. I have a problem with my luggage. The receptionist Oscar Turmini (maybe the last name is not exact) make my things more dificult instead of help me. Was very distressfull. I had the room near the restaurant, it was very noisy. At the checkout they have used a really poor exchange rate so I ended up paying 39 usd for a 34 usd room. They also tried to overcharge me "by mistake". I would not stay there again!.
