Heaters and hair dryers are available upon request. A handful of our rooms have a delightful view of the city. Wake up to a complimentary buffet breakfast consisting of fresh breads, toast, homemade jam, cheese, ham, butter, a variety of teas, Bolivian grown coffee, and fruit. The property also features an a le carte menu that offers pancakes, waffles, omelets, and much more. The in house “Café del Mundo”, offers all day breakfast, and a variety of international, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant “El Tambo” offers a wide variety of Bolivian meals. Room service is also available. Hotel Sagarnaga features a 24-hour front desk service, and airport pick up can be arranged for a surcharge. Guests can also find a a tourism agency in the hotel, which offers a variety of private and shared tours and excursions.

The service was excellent! My friend fainted in our room shortly after arriving. I called for help and one of the staff ran up 5 flights of stairs (there is a perfectly functional elevator) and offered to call a doctor. He came back 5 min later with coca tea and bottled water. In addition, the location was perfect right next to the witches market and good souvenir shopping. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers were always hot and with excellent pressure. Felt very secure. Overall, a great.
alle vurderinger » Perfect location, on Sagarnaga street and very near the pedestrian Calle Linares. Two computers available in the breakfast restaurant. The hotel is connected to a travel agency, through which we could get a bus to Copacabana, boarding right in front of the hotel. The location was great for shopping. No problem when we left early due to the altitude. Diana tours was not inexpensive, but she arranged a great driver and guide for us so that we could see as much as possible without much walking. Loved having an elevator. The staff was very accommodating and some spoke English. We felt like we were the only ones there -- they took such personal care of us! The location is perfect for exploring the city center and shopping in the multiple shops on the narrow streets. Centrally located in a safe area. Restaurants and shops nearby. Helpful travel agency in the hotel. Bus to Copacabana/Lake Titicaca leaves directly from outside the hotel (much safer than the central Bus station). Everything about this place was excellent, staff were friendly and really nice,close proximity to the Witches Market and to the rest of La Paz. We were given a heater for our room at no extra cost which was great. Relatively cheap, budget dependant. Excellent location central to the city. Markets and nightlife are easily within walking distance. Staff were friendly and very helpful. hotel is in the midle of town..perfect for shopping. At least we felt safe and it had wifi, tour guide, English speaking owner and in good spot to see everything without being crazy party party . central to the tourist area and central cbd. This is a basic hotel which is located in the heart of the city centre next to the witches market and some nice restaurants (cafe del mundo, restaurant sol y luna). The staff is fine, but a bit lazy. Friendly staffs, close to main tourist area. Location. Breakfast was basic- bread tea and juice. Fancy keyholders and nice reception desk didn't make up for not-very-clean towels and bathroom. Breakfast is small but ok for the price. Liked everything. I could not get internet coverage anywhere within the hotel. nothing. Breakfast poor and limited one piece of toast a bread roll and two small crackers butter and jam given to you on a plate. The shower base leaked water which wet the carpet in the room by the door and the wifi did not reach our room. Never organised transport from airport even though requested. Cold temperatures, cleanliness. The wi-fi does not work in the room depending on the floor you are staying. The breakfast is simple and has no options. Nothing. Wifi slow & not available in some rooms. Shower No central heating. Everything is a tad too old, sheets etc.... Room was decent enough size but needed new sheets as its all a bit drab and dark... Maybe brighter lights in the lobby??? But la paz is a pretty full on city. rooms were basic, shower was hot but bit hard to use. They only change the sheets every three days regardless of if two different guests have stayed in that bed. Their credit card machine didn't work, even tho he said we could pay with the card, then he blamed us, our card, when it didn't go thru (even tho he somehow charged 5.67 bolivianos on it first and that went through? Felt scammy. Wi-fi didn't work at all, just FYI. staff werent very friendly. Bad wifi. Rooms were not that clean. The bathroom had a really bad smell and the sheets on the bed were not clean. After mentioning it to the staff we changed rooms and got a totally new sheet directly from the package. However, also this room was not that clean. And they served a really poor breakfast: only some breads with the cheapest marmelade, no yogurt or eggs. Poor hygiene, basic facility, not very comfortable rooms Please don’t use Diana tour which is part of the hotel for city or other travels, ok for airport pickup , other trips are poorly organised and very bad transport no heating at all inside the bus and van freezing conditions and very uncomfortable journeys. Room very cold ,phone not connected to outlet .not very clean.
