i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus.
i cooked a lot of great meals.
the layout of the room was good,
it felt like home.
Laundry service was great.
and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC.
We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much.
Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.

This is a great little place about 10-15mins north of Coffs Harbour and inland from the highway (note that the highway is currently under works so diversions in place but it's well signposted). We often hear that a location is a hidden oasis. But Santa Fe really is. Unfortunately we could only stay 2 nights. On our next visit it will be a few days. The B&B is delightful. Sharon is the consummate hostess, the breakfasts are wonderful.
The rooms are delightfully decorated and the lounge etc are very relaxing and comfortable.
But it is outside that Santa Fe really comes into its own. In 6 acres Sharon and Ben have transformed the area into a really interesting exploratory sensa

The cabin is beautiful, great design and very welcoming. I loved the glass doors and windows leading out to the decking.
I loved the decking area, we spotted plenty of wildlife and the sound of the birds made for a very peaceful atmosphere.

Set back from the street in a nice quiet location in a cul de sac so there was no passing traffic. We stayed in the Tuscan room which although it was the smallest was quite adequate. Very welcomeing, friendly, it was like you were staying in someone's house. Our host Graeme was helpful and hospitable and cooks a yummy breakfast. We came in on cold night to a warm cosy room. There was also a fire in the lounge room if you wished to sit there. We found our room comfortaleble and stayed there with a glass of wine.The first 1st photos is of the room we stayed in, so I know them to be true.

We very much liked the accommodation in the cottage. The breakfast in the main guesthouse was very much home made, plentiful and delicious. We stayed in Thistle Hill for 2 night celebrating my partners birthday. I have visited Hunter Valley previously and have to say this Guesthouse is one of the top stays I have experienced. Beautiful decor with attention to details, Thistle Hill grounds are stunning, breakfast very tasty with great choice of food, and Carol's baked pears just delicious!! We will definitely come back later this year.

Hosts Kerry and Heather were very friendly and professional, and we could see that they were doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable. One nice touch: they left us a copy of The Canberra Times just outside the door one morning, (we're from the ACT). Their breakfast menu was fantastic. We stayed at this same place during holidays last year and liked it well enough to stay here again this year.

Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.
