  We really liked being in the upcountry and the quiet of the location. It was close to our son who lives in Pukalani. The local restaurants were excellent and fairly reasonable price wise.   My wife and I loved the location. The proximity to the Volcano National Park was perfect for visiting there and only somewhat far from the airport. We drove all over the island from that location and I thought it was a great starting point too all destinations since our main purpose was to see the volcanos. The cottage was really nice inside with ... wat mensen zeggen » knotty pine walls and ceiling with a country feeling to it. The kitchen was amply equipped for most anything. - Everything. It is a private, secluded, fantastic getaway I wanted to move into and stay forever. It was an amazing experience to wake up in your own private rain forest. I am from the Northwest and it had the feel and look of a Northwest forest only with different exotic flora. Pick this one.

  Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean. There were 14 of us with 7 teenagers travelling as a group and it suited us perfectly. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.
