  The position is simply perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to Times Sq., the 5th Av., the theater distr. and a couple of strategic subway stations. The hotel has nothing special, but really has everithing you need: clean, confortable, nice staff, gym, lounge with printer and pc and complimentarey (and good) coffee, free wifi, complimentary wate... wat mensen zeggen » r... We went as tourist for a long week-end and were complitely satisfied, but I would also consider this hotel for business trip. - Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner. The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

  De service. Het hotel heeft veel personeel en iedereen is druk in deweer om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. En dat zonder nadrukkelijkaanwezig te ziijn. Het hotel bleek d hele dag en nacht ook gratis koffieen thee te biden en rond 5 uur is er gratis wiijn en snacks. The closet was large and well lit. We very much enjoyed the breakfasts, the wine and cheese receptions, and the availability of coffee, tea, cookies and fruit all day. I would highly recommend this hotel. - Very comfortable and clean. Fantastic bed and excellent controllable heating/aircon. Central location but very peaceful. Staff very friendly. Overall everything was first class.

  The rooms were beautifully appointed in contemporary tasteful decor. Comfortable seating. Great flat screen TV. Bed was super comfortable and linens were really elegant. Bathroom setup was fantastic. The shower was the best I've ever had. Wish I could take it home with me. It was a rainshower type with great pressure and easy to turn on and off. I... wat mensen zeggen » loved the floor to ceiling windows that opened. Great light onto a quieter street. Fresh air is always nice in a hotel room. Room service was amazing - My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction, and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

  From the moment we walked into the hotel lobby we felt very at home....there was a wonderful smell of fresh lillies and the check-in was very efficient and courteous. We had forgotten our padlock key to our suitcase but it wasn't a problem as one of the staff came up to our room with a pair or bolt cutters! The bed was one of the most comfortable ... wat mensen zeggen » we have ever slept in- which made it difficult getting up in the mornings! The room was lovely and had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a micro - I find the Blakely to be centrally located for all activities in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious enough. I love the area in the room where you have Emeril Kerik coffee and the Kerik coffee maker. there is also a microwave, a small refrigerator, sink and utensils for morning coffee if you want to sleep late and not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms spotless where the magnifying mirror on the wall is

  This is a "Classic" hotel that is part of the Waldorf Astoria. Separate entrance, separate doorman, concierge, etc. Feels like "Old New York". Rooms have 15 ft ceilings and wonderful architecture. We had two rooms and our daughter's room was modern, phenomenal bath all in marble. great, personal, service. Will definitely stay again. - Every... wat mensen zeggen » thing. Especialy so that we were given an ugrade. The staff are all friendly.
