  I checked into Grand Hyatt in Dec2013. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the rooms are; at least, twice as big as any other hotel that I have stayed in for a price around $400. The rooms are extremely good in terms of maintenance and all the facilities that you would expect of Hyatt. Grand Central station is 1-minute walk. S - Great location right next to Grand Central Station and a short walk to Bryant Park . Room was clean and efficient . Lobby included coffee shop and snack area . Nice bar area . We didn't use the restaurent or breakfast facilities preferring to eat out .

  The room was in excellent condition. Perfectly cleaned smelling fresh and and luxuriously designed The view from the 37th floor was to die for especially at night. I could see the Empire State Building, Crysler Building and all the others that lit up the night sky. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would reccomend it anytime. My visit to New York Citey will be - Loved the location, the staff were excellent, we were upgraded upon arrival for no additional cost. The staff made every effort to make sure we were taken care of---oh, except for the day doorman. We needed a cab--- very easy to get by ourselves---but the doorman insisted on flagging one for us. But, then he got involved with a couple checking in. We had to leave and we kept telling him...so, we flagged our own cab. No big deal.

  This hotel is absolutely wonderful- a breath of fresh air. From the time we arrived early to the time we checked out the entire stay was so easy. The staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly, the rooms are amazing and the rooftop bar has the most brilliant views. Wine hour every afternoon is also a nice little perk to staying here! It's close to Times Square and local neighbourhoods in which there are plenty of great restaurants and bars, but not too close tha - We had a terrific view from our Hudson Suite of the Macy's July 4th fireworks; it was the most important factor in our choice on ink48 and we weren't disappointed. The Hudson Suite was well-designed and filled with light - quite different from other Manhattan suites we have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised how close we were to the theater district.

  I was travelling with my 15 year old daughter. The hotel was a pleasant surprise amidst the unattractive neighborhood. The room was small, but that's New York. We were on 9th floor and the sweeping views of the Williamsburg bridge and Manhattan skyline were amazing! Beds were very comfortable, room was clean. Staff was young, polite, and - Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk).
