  The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Service in Carrie's Bar was very good too as was my meal. I had very prompt attention to "fix" the television in my room. - Very comfortable with nice public areas. Rooms big and warm with good bathrooms. Staff attentive and efficient. Couldn't fault it.

  Spa was lovely and treatments were very good The shower in the room was the best I have ever been in. Nice breakfast. Very nice spacious rooms. - I loved the fact that there were cherries and prosecco waiting for us as it was our wedding night! The staff were very friendly!

  The staff were all very friendly and attentive, the meal in the restaurant was excellent and the hotel throughout is furnished to a high standard. The bedroom was very well furnished, spaceous, with a large comfortable bed. Very nicely decorated bathroom. The hotel is in a beautiful village which is lovely to walk around. Unfortunately the best one can say about most hotels is that service was indifferent.. The Old Bell set the standard. They could not have done it better. Obviously thought and a lot of hard work to achieve what they have. The restauraunt was outstanding as well. We are normally a tough bunch to please!

  Lovely greeting from the owner. Food was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were spot on. Whilst the room was lovely I would have liked some additional touches like some biscuits and herbal teas, a bin in the bedroom and the ability to turn the heating on. I realise it is summer but the towel rail did not come on which would have been nice. But ov... wat mensen zeggen » erall we had a lovely stay and my points are only minor! - The Horse Guards lived up to its high rating...The room was spacious..spotlessly clean, warm, and comfortable. Food was good and reasonably priced and hosts were welcoming and friendly. Lovely quiet spot with country views( and rabbits!)....A perfect spot to relax and unwind and only a few minutes from Tetbury and Malmesbury......IWe absolutely recommend the Horseguards. A+stay.

  My son and I enjoyed our stay at Guyers House. Clean, beautiful gardens, friendly, easy to find, nice rooms, good wi-fi and TV for my son. We had a hectic day of lots of driving and when we arrived at Guyers I felt I could really relax. Perhaps the best, or one of the best (of 2) places we stayed in this trip. - The House and grounds are beaut... wat mensen zeggen » iful and our room was very nicely furnished, decorated and comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful. This was excellent value for money. Would definitely return when in the area and would highly recommend.

  We only stayed one night so not really able to comment. However, we were delighted with King John, we were attending a party in Iwerne Minster and hopefully next year when there is another party we will stay for a bit longer. Hope they let us know in time when the party is and before you are booked up. We found it very clean,the staff were friendly and the food was freshly prepared and very good. Our 'standard' room had a good quality TV and coffee maker etc and the bed and bedding was of very good quality.

  Helpful & friendly staff.Great for children-- lots for them to do and excellent meals for them. Meals for adults good as well. We were a family group of 10 adults and one 4year old child celebrating my wife`s 80th birthday and the staff looked after everyone with great care making this a most enjoyable weekend.

We had a room at the back of the house so very quiet and peaceful although ti is next to the A30. Unusually varied breakfast menu with lots of cooked options. Staff helpful and let us check in early.
