  The service was the best I've experienced anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble and I've stayed in many 5* hotels especially in London. This was as good if not better. The hotel was beautiful too. The rooms were gorgeous. We had a feature room. With huge shower and late bath in the room. Which was fabulous. Beds were amazing. Breakfast in bed. ... wat mensen zeggen » Newspapers etc on a Sunday morning there is perfection. All over a fabulous place. And the staff are its biggest asset. Great cocktails too. Good bar - Service was second to none. Hotel was very glam and finished to a very high standard. Bar staff were very professional, friendly and entertaining. Chefs were happy to prepare something which was not on the menu. All in all, a very friendly atmosphere that was made by the staff and the surroundings!   Considerate, affable and accommodating staff were present throughout the hotel, from reception to the restauarant. Food was very pleasant, and the general atmosphere was well established and maintained. I proposed to my girlfriend during my stay, and the hotel staff managed to strike the perfect balance between celebration and keeping it a privat... wat mensen zeggen » e matter.   Grote mooie kamer Goed bereikbaar - We chose Thistle Cheltenham because a few weeks earlier we had stayed in The Atlantic Tower - Thistle in Liverpool and enjoyed our stay so much we looked for the Thistle name for our visit to Cheltenham. Excellent in every respect. The room was easily on a par with Liverpool (except no flat screen TV but this was... wat mensen zeggen » not a problem). Before we went down to breakfast we had a free swim, Jacuzzi and sauna. - Swimming and going into the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The room was lovely and we have visited the hotel several times over the past 10 years and always enjoy returning to the Thistle Cheltenham. Lovely hotel and the breakfast was very nice. Most enjoyable stay.

  We needed a base in the area while my son was on a cricket tour. It was just what we wanted. Breakfasts were great and set us up for the day. Staff were excellent, rooms basic but comfy. Restaurant/bar attached to the hotel was handy, and provided ice bucket and glasses for our own wine. Couldn't fault the service.
