  One of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. We received the warmest welcome from the hosts Debbie and Michael, who made us feel very comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. The place is very tastefully decorated, both the bedroom and the bathroom (and the terrace, if you're staying in the lovely Pond Room) offer lots - Stunning location- an absolute haven. We had the pond room which was very roomy and luxurious with king sized bed and fantastic en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower. Lots of beautiful wood work everywhere with great attention to detail. We had our own decking and verandah with a gorgeous wildlife pond and private piece of garden which had been carefully tended to create a meadow effect.   The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat. The accommodation is of a very high spec, beautiful bedroom and bathroom and lovely, lovely breakfast with homemade bread.   A very warm welcome. Easy access and off road parking for guests. Was given a choice of well appointed rooms. Attention to detail in everything. Superb linen, thick fluffy towels. Loved the use of a Nespresso machine to add to the feel of quality n style to the experience. Room was quiet yet close to town- 5 mins walk max. Superb shower and t... wat mensen zeggen » oiletries. Breakfast was delicious - no plastic sausages or cardboard toast. Good quality food served on tray. Again attention to detail with qualit - This was exceptional value for money, very modern and stylish with great facilitys, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, everything we needed was provided, the owner Tony couldnt do enough for us. very close to great restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. I would recomend this great B and B, very close to Dartmoor for fantastic walking. check it out, thank you Tony.

  I have just returned from a 5 night stay in this stunning building and can, hand on heart, say I will be back as soon as I can. I was in Phoebe room, set out as a twin room, staying with my mum. The room was beyond comfortable and I slept like a baby. High quality bed linens & furnishings; - I stayed here in March as I wanted to stay in this historic property. Greeted wonderfully by the owners, a Devon home made cream tea on arrival in their beautiful sitting room in big leather chairs.   It was an ideal overnight B&B to give us a pleasant break on a long trip. We tried to book to stay on the way back but there were no vacancies - which was hardly a surprise as the visitor's book was full of nothing but praise. The house is in a great location for Torquay and near to Cockington Country Park. The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere.   Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious.
