the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

Very clean, despite the obvious age of the building, which adds to the "antique charm".

A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We called in early in the morning and as our room was ready we were allowed to book in straight away rather than waiting until the afternoon which was very helpful. -

vriendelijk personeel - Attentiveness of the staff and quality of the food, although there was only a choice of one thing for vegetarians on the evening menu it was in fact extremly good, this can always be a worrying moment for me as my husband is chef/owner of our own restaurant and knows when he's being sidelined as a vegetarian. On arrival the welcome was just right and the staff's attention during our stay was all one could ask for. We will definitely return and would certainly recommend the hotel to others.

The location is superbe, with magnificent views from our room, the dining room, lounge and terrace. The staff were most attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Lynton is a great base to explore Exmoor,and the hotel is easy to find and beautifully placed to walk the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. -
