Standing in an imposing position on the quayside, this is one of the finest buildings in the town, and offers fine food, great ales and elegant accommodation.
The Pescadou restaurant is a gem, and caters for every eventuality, using fresh local produce and fresh, locally caught fish straight from the quay. The Old Custom House also has its own on-site beauty salon where you can relax and pamper yourself during your stay.
All of the comfortable and charming rooms are en suite and most have breathtaking views across the historic harbour or the estuary.
Please note that the Old Custom House is a popular inn in the centre of Padstow. Guests in some rooms close to the bar areas may experience a little background noise at some times during their stay.

The Hotel was in the center of Padstow so location was excellent, all the hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Breakfast menu offered a good variety. Perfect location on the quayside and fantastic breakfasts with views over the harbour.Good breakfast in a very pleasant restaurant. Got to be the best location in padstow. location; good parking nearby. The location was excellent, bed was really comfy and the room clean. Couldn't really fault the hotel other some monor points. bar/food/area all very nice and staff very welcoming. the position of the hotel and evening meal. Central position of hotel. Location. Location. The Bar was a little dated.there was a lot of stairs and this was not mentioned at the time of booking. Quite expensive for the size and standard of the room however this was probably due to the fantastic location and the room was fine.We had a bar lunch there on arrival - felt that this area could be improved. Lunch was OK but would have prefered a more intimate layout/decor. stairs steep and need new carpet.too many doors to walk through to get to our room at the top (although it did become a laughing point at the end - almost needed a TomTom) and parking was too expensive. the room needed repairs to lights and bathroom fittings. the room was a little over priced for what it was. Our room was up several flights of stairs and with no lift it wasextremley difficult to carry our luggage to the room. No help wasoffered by any member of staff to help us with our bags and if theguest/s were not as fit as ourselves they would have had a real problemwith the position of this room which was the furthest away fromreception.Poor drinks service after the bar closed for those who wereresidents. For example we had guests with us who were staying nearby butI was refused service to get them a drink- after we had all eaten in thehotel and spent hours drinking in the bar afterwards- yet staffthemselves were sat in the bar drinking at a table.Suggest you lookafter your Guests first. Condition of room, noise from other rooms.
