  Very friendly welcome, room size was very generous and comfortable, Breakfast was served with a smile and cooked just right. Location was excellent for our needs. Would definitely recommend to others and would book again if in the area. - Location quite close for the town centre and university; very close to the Great Central steam railway (6 m... wat mensen zeggen » inutes walk). Although situated on a main road, the hotel is set back and is quiet. Breakfast is excellent value for £5.00

Vegetarians had a wide choice of dishes, which makes a change! the setting - it is a really quaint hotel with large outdoor seating area.
