  We liked everything. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we had ever had - cooked when ordered. The staff really friendly and helpful. the accommodation was lovely. We had a 6ft bed!. Even the toilet roll was the softest I have had. It was just the little things that made the whole experience great. We are staying there again in July. Well equipped and has everything you could expect to find in a B&B. Room was spotless clean and so was the bathroom. Good service at breakfast - quick and effective. Decent choice on the menu.

  Very friendly welcome, room size was very generous and comfortable, Breakfast was served with a smile and cooked just right. Location was excellent for our needs. Would definitely recommend to others and would book again if in the area. - Location quite close for the town centre and university; very close to the Great Central steam railway (6 m... wat mensen zeggen » inutes walk).   Although my stay was only overnight after returning from Belgium via East Midlands Airport, it was long enough to convince me that I had made a good choice for an overnight stay. The Mountsorrel is professionally run by Mike and Hilary and the main thing that strikes you is the cleanliness of the place. Although I had booked for a single room I was put in a double because there was a baby in the room next to me and they were worried - The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

Vegetarians had a wide choice of dishes, which makes a change! the setting - it is a really quaint hotel with large outdoor seating area.
