De bediening was goed. Eten was goed. - The room was so much more than basic. We found it very inviting as soon as we walked in. The evening meal was done to perfection, and breakfast would satisfy anybody. - The staff were all very efficient and friendly and the surroundings were second to none.

The cottage was perfect for a get away from it all weekend. The cottage was lovely, beautifully furnished to a high standard. The garden with a brook and a sun house was the icing on the cake. The bird feeders were an added bonus attracting many different varieties of birds. -

It was located in a quiet village, Hinton Charterhouse, approx 15minutes from Bath Spa by road. Access by local bus or taxi from Bath Spa if you don't have own vehicle. Peaceful, friendly, good food and country pub atmosphere. Access to some rooms is by stairs only. Staff very helpful to take bags up for you but if stairs is an issue you may need to ask for ground level room.

All of the our stay was excellen. From the moment we arrived and greeted with smiling faces, and very time we saw a memeber of staff they would always smile and chat to you. Also if you required anythimg it was done straight away, with no problem. There was a cosy family feel to the hotel, with only 5 or 6 bedrooms and a very personal touch. We were offered a cup of tea in the garden when we first arrived, and breakfast was cooked to order and served in a family dining room with the other guests in the morning.
