A little bit too expensive, but probably it is because we spend there only one day - the week will be cheaper. - We had an excellent stay and the owners really had thought of everything.   The cottage was perfect for a get away from it all weekend. The cottage was lovely, beautifully furnished to a high standard. The garden with a brook and a sun house was the icing on the cake.   Very nice hotel, staff was excellent . food very good. It was a very short stay however hotel was extremely helpful to mark the special occasion as requested Thank you - The staff were extremely tentative and catered to our every needs, especially on the 6 course taster menu and providing wheat free alternatives.

  We loved everything about this beautiful Manor House - it's quaint, atmospheric, comfortable and luxurious with the most amazing and incredibly friendly owners, Norman & Beth. We will be going back without a doubt! The rooms were clean, comfortable and were the right mix of having a modern feel in a very old building. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm.   Lovely little cottage located right out the way in the countryside but easy 10 minute drive to Bath and local amenities are within 5 minute drive. We drove most days to Bath but used Abbey Taxi's to go out on Friday night (aprx £11 to Bath centre) very reliable and reasonable taxi firm. Good power shower, extremely comfy bed and easy access wifi. - Beautiful cottage, great facilities, beautiful location
