  The welcome was great and the receptionist was very helpful, giving us a map, showing directions and telling us about 'extras', such as the Christmas market. We also liked the fact that TGI Fridays was attached(!) even though we didn't realise we could go straight through from the hotel!   Stayed for Depeche Mode concert at the F.D Arena across the road, so the location was excellent. the room was very clean and comfortable. For anybody wanting to stay somewhere for events at the Leeds Arena, I couldn't recommend this highly enough. I wouldn't hesitate to consider using this hotel again. - The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. My daughter celebrated her birthday whilst we were staying at the hotel and the staff on duty were wonderful and made the evening special for her. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location. The flexibility of leaving the bags at the hotel on check-out day whilst we enjoyed some more time in Leeds was also appreciated.

Kitchenette supplies - nice to have a mug! - though would have liked to have been able to make myself an early morning cup of tea to have in bed without having to get dressed and walk a bit of a distance down the corridor! Good-sized towels. The fact that there wasn't a television! Great choice of different fruits/fruit prep for breakfast. Easy parking.

  We were so happy with this hotel. It's a charming building staffed by friendly helpful people. Our room was good sized, clean and comfortable--very good value for the money. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and eating in the hotel restaurant which drew a good crowd of locals on Saturday night. The neighborhood is very convenient with shops and pubs... wat mensen zeggen » and well served by the bus lines going to the University and downtown.We had to unexpectedly extend our stay by one night and the hotel staff couldn' - We loved the look of the hotel as we booked in. The staff were friendly and made a fuss of the children. On entering our room we were thrilled with the character feature furniture alongside modern features, such as tall headboard and flatscreen tv. The bathroom was immaculate and very modern, with shower and bath. The two easy chairs were lovely to sink into after a busy day and we came away feeling that we all want to return to Haley's again one day!
