  Everything was fine and what you want/expect for a night away. It was well situated for the local amenities and a stones throw from the picturesque walks along the river. The staff were all polite and helpful and I also like how the bar has been refurbished. As it was a nice warm evening we could enjoy having a drink in the garden. Being able to u... wat mensen zeggen » se the carpark for the whole of my stay was also very useful. - We liked the olde worlde feel to the hotel but without the feeling of dilapidation that you often find in older hotel buildings. We had comfortable brass and iron beds (unusual for a hotel) which I really enjoyed. The food was good, staff friendly and helpful and the location on the edge of Blandford was excellent.
