away feeling ripped off. It nearly put me off trying the Hilton again. I

I can honestly say that this was my best hotel experience ever! And I have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I stayed at the Double Tree at the Newcastle Airport because I had an early flight the next morning. My kids and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant before they headed back home to Durham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The room was perfect.

De grote ruimte, twee prettige badkamers, de mooie keuken, mooie opgang - I wanted to take my girlfriend to Newcastle for her 25th birthday and required somewhere central and stylish. I'll defo be using this Hotel again. - The staff were excellent and immediately upgraded my wife and I to another apartment when we had a minor problem with the smoke alarm. They were even understanding when I got home after our stay and discovered that I had inadvertantly packed one of their very small cushions (sent immediately back by recorded delivery). The apartments are ultra luxurious and we hope to go back soon.

If there was an option to give the staff more than a 5 + rating then I would. Thouroughly enjoyed my long weekend here and the staff were remarkably helpful and pleasant. I would hope this gets back to them and they can be commended for this.

This is a really special hotel. We really loved the quirky modern design. Everything was top notch. The staff were super friendly. Because we were kept waiting for a few minutes when we were checking in we were sent to our room with a bottle of champagne. The room was large and bright and decor interesting. Good free wifi - the kitchenette and 2 TVs were an unexpected bonus. (Would love to come back when the strip fire all along the front window of the hotel is alight in the cold weather.)

5* in our opinion. Modern contemporary and extremely comfortable.
