  Goed ontbijt. Redelijk ruime kamer. Leek wat ver uit het centrum maar met een metrohalte vlakbij bleek dat geen probleem. - Excellent service. Well looked after at Breakfast which was also excellent - The hotel is in a lovely area of Newcastle - the bed was very comfortable and we had a beautiful view from the bay window.

There was on site parking which is a bonus as parking in Jesmond is difficult It is close to the city centre but also with easy routes to the coastal areas.   If there was an option to give the staff more than a 5 + rating then I would. Thouroughly enjoyed my long weekend here and the staff were remarkably helpful and pleasant. I would hope this gets back to them and they can be commended for this. Lucia was fantastic and if she is not the Duty Manager then she should be ! Also a big thumbs up to the young blonde haired gentleman porter type chap who was v - This is a really special hotel. We really loved the quirky modern design. Everything was top notch. The staff were super friendly. Because we were kept waiting for a few minutes when we were checking in we were sent to our room with a bottle of champagne. The room was large and bright and decor interesting. Good free wifi - the kitchenette and 2 TVs were an unexpected bonus. (Would love to come back when the strip fire all along the front window of the hotel is alight in the cold weather.)
