Sandra was very helpful, and everything that was promised in the advert happened. The food for nibbles and having breakfast was well thought out and excellent. I have recommended it to anyone who needs to stay overnight either for flights or a short break

An excellent stop over for flights from Bristol Airport. Very tastefully furnished, quiet and comfortable. Room was immaculate and owner very helpful, especially with free transfer to airport. Breakfast is self service, but there is plenty to satisfy you. Will use again.

We stayed here when travelling back from the airport. I had good communication prior to arriving and we were picked up and brought back to the airport the next day all free of charge. All the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a travel cot erected in the room prior to our arrival, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the wet room was fantastic. The Battleaxes is a nice and friendly place to stay. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was very nice and the breakfast kept you going for most of the day.
