  Hotel wordt gerund door zeer aardig en attent Australisch echtpaar. kamers zijn top. Ontbijt is okee maar niet echt uitgebreid. De vieuw vanuit het hotel en de kamers is geweldig.Is erg landelijk gelegen. - We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news pa... wat mensen zeggen » pers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one just like it in our garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This really is a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all.   We stayed for one night on our way to Bristol airport.The house is beautiful with super old beams & some very nice pieces of antique furniture.Breakfast is a do it yourself job (in the spotless kitchen ) which suited us fine as we were leaving very early in the morning for our flight so actually didn't bother except tea.Could not be more conve... wat mensen zeggen » nient for the airport - 5 minutes drive away.Thank you Johan, we will be back !!! Paul & Linda Garwood - The house has been newly renovated. We were the first people to stay in our room! Johan was very helpful, and explained things very well. The house is a bit of a maze and you needed a tour guide to find your room ;-) Private parking at the back of the house. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!

  Very friendly attentive helpful staff. Reception area was very welcoming. The whole hotel was spotless. Excellent shower. Comfy bed. Amazing soundproofing - there is quite a noisy road outside, but we couldn't hear it at all, I was also surprised how busy the breakfast room was as we hadn't heard any other guests. Breakfast was reasonable value an... wat mensen zeggen » d very efficient. The guy clearing the tables was super fast. Very convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel. We had a good evening meal to - i was very pleasantly surprised at how really nice the ibis was, i did,nt know what to expect but from my arrival to my checking outi could find no faults with the hotel or the staff. i whave since booked into both the ibis at swansea and at whitechapel london. i would not hesitate to reccomend the ibis hotels to my friends.
