The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

test English speaking ability as we speak Turkish. The apartment gave us
more than enough space for luggage, etc. compared to the typical
boutique hotels in the area. The location was convenient to Tophane tram

Though the - We were in a top floor apartment with a nice terrace. Clean, spacious, newly redone. Lots of light. Good A/C. Very quiet with windows closed. Very nice overall. Well situated with regard to tram stops and the Tunel funicular. Not a bad walk over the Galata Bridge to the old city. Some excellent fish places near the bridge. The hotel was in very good location. The stuff was very kind, Murat, the owner, was very helpful, give us all needed information. We stayed 5 persons in two bedroom apartment, and the apartment was very comfortable, clean. It is great for young people, close to istikal street, taksim, all good location to see and visit. We definetly would stay in this hotel.

comfortable in the hands of the great staff at Chef Apartments. We had

The apartment was fully equipped with everything, from detergent for the
washing machine to toothbrushes. Erdogan, the guy that welcomed us was
awesome:) he even called us the day before our arrival to confirm and
ended up explaining to me how to get easily with public transport the
airport to the apartment (which included spelling the stations of

The management were professional and helpful. We were a large group ( 7
people ) and the facilities were more than adequate, 4 bedrooms, one
with a double bed, two bedrooms with two single beds each and a bedroom
with three single beds. The location is very close to both Istikal
Street and the tram station from which you can commute through out the
city. For a large group this apartment is good value.
