Turan and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't
test English speaking ability as we speak Turkish. The apartment gave us
more than enough space for luggage, etc. compared to the typical
boutique hotels in the area. The location was convenient to Tophane tram
station, so we could easily reach many tourist attractions. Small
kitchen and proximity of grocers and (simit) bakers made it easy and cost-
effective to have breakfast at the apartment before starting our day.

We were in a top floor apartment with a nice terrace. Clean, spacious, newly redone. Lots of light. Good A/C. Very quiet with windows closed. Very nice overall. Well situated with regard to tram stops and the Tunel funicular. Not a bad walk over the Galata Bridge to the old city. Some excellent fish places near the bridge. Not a hard walk to the Galata Tower. Good bathroom. Adequate kitchen for making tea. Apartment size refirgerator adequate. Only a small microwave and a two burner el.
The location was great. Close to the metro. Walking up the hill to Taksim was fine and not a big deal. The staff was really friendly and really helpful. The room was great very nice, we only used the kitchen to prepare snacks but everything was wonderful. The staff's english wasn't great but this was our second time around in Istanbul so we didn't need any information.
Staying at Nevv Apartment made my stay in Istanbul fabulous. It was so cozy that it felt like home. I didn't want to go away. I liked the fact that the apartment has also an iron in case you would need one. I highly reccomend this place. Near Taksim and near all the nice places to be visited.

comfort in the apartments, natural light with lots of windows, woodend floor, soft natural colors, great bed, lift, clean house with good wi-fi. free parking in front of the building, small grocery shops around the corner...very good place to stay and enjoy Istanbul!.
The location was great only 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop or metro, round the corner from a friendly green grocer and super-market, very quiet, very clean,. The staff where amazing and extremely helpful with a good knowledge of the city and how to get around.

Great hotel, nice people. Neighbourhood its changing to the "modern Istanbul", a lot of art shops, restaurants and young people, tourists. Close to everywhere. If we'll be back in Istanbul, we will definitely book this hotel.

It is located in a side street of Istiklal street, also very close to the tram station and the old city. You have many mini markets just a minute or two from the apartment.

It was difficult to maintain a steady temperature in the shower - seemed
to go from very hot to cold without warning. Also, there are steps from
the lobby to the first floor where the elevator was available - might
not be ideal for all travelers. However, the staff helped us get our
heavy bags to and from our room. These are very small
'negatives' and we would definitely stay here again!. The staff did not appear to speak any English, but then we never needed any serious contact with them. It's hard to find the first time. Noisy during the day because the adjacent buildings are being gutted and restored, but this wasn't a problem for us as we were out during the day.
The area was under construction, so there was some work going on, but we had a room that was far enough away that it didn't bother us.

It is based in Tophane which is one of the poorest areas in central Istanbul. Thus, at night it might feel uncomfortable to walk around the apartment.
However, the apartment is only 10 seconds from the main avenue which has a tram, metro and bus station.
The apartment was a bit stinky simply because we could not open a window! Hold account with the fact that the taxi driver might not find it easily.
A lot of construction in the area; flat could have been cleaned during our stay but it wasn't;.
If to open the windows some mosquitis came in the nights. Very few cups,
plates, glasses.

We stayed for 6 days and the apartment never got cleaned. The stuff did not speak good English however communication was always accomplished. The area is a bit spooky during the night - for a 2 streets perimeter, after that it's ok.
Missing some dishes and cleaning stuff.
Bedroom is not separared from the living room by door.
The construction noise in the neighborhood too much for day time...
The bed was like a bed of a fakir. The isolation is poor, we could hear
dogs barking all night.
