  The hotel staff are very friendly, cheerful, accomodating and helpfull. The hotel atmosphere is cosy and homely. Breakfast is wonderful and the room very clean and cosy. The room has coffee/tea facility but they provide hot water in a flask. Having a small child, I need an electric kettle to make milk at night. I didnt bother asking them to provid... wat mensen zeggen » e, and bought one the next day. To my delight, they sent me an electric kettle in the afternoon. My only regret is that was not able to say goodbye an - If you look for a perfectly located hotel with local flair, you will love Djem. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms

  The view from top floor!!! The sea at one hand, the blue mosque the other. I had no idea that we were THIS close to the mosque, it was literally across the street. The view was just breathtaking, so surreal. I didn't even care for the poor soundproofing walls or the morning preach that violently woke us up haha (which means how close we were to th... wat mensen zeggen » e mosque). The view is definitely incomparable. - Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door. The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities. The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

  The location is the winner at Arasta Hotel, it couldn't be better, right in the heart of the main attractions, awakening to the call to prayer right at the back of the Blue Mosque what could be better than that experience.   This is our second stay at the Blue House. We love the location and friendliness of the staff. Our room had a view of the Blue Mosque and the view from the rooftop is fabulous.   Central en schoon - This was the best place I stayed out of 3 hotels in Istanbul! It was super budget friendly but also had really beautiful rooms, really clean and the staff were amazing! it has has a kitchenett so you can make your own meals and the rooms are really spacious. Now that i found thus place i would stay here ever time I am in Istanbul!! - The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help, especially Mr.Salih. The location was suitable for our plans.
