  Our intention was to visit and see Bern for a day. Hotel is exactly that. In a quiet place, close to the park of roses and near the old part of Bern. The rooms are quite small, the bathroom is very small and the shower. It is more for the business world. - Modern facilities, ample parking, 5 minutes drive to Old City, close to freeway, fast inter... wat mensen zeggen » net.We thought we're in Novotel! :-)

  Alot of the other reviews say that the breakfast is good, and true enough, I must say it's excellent! Continental breakfast with fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, good selection of fresh fruit, even strawberries. The 24 hour coffee/milk machine was a really nice extra. Location was good enough, bern being so small, we could walk to most places of a... wat mensen zeggen » ttraction, the main train station was only 2 stops away on the tram (if you have luggage). There's a small pizzeria nearby, which made surprisingly yu - We had a room with private bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Handy to very frequent public transport on 2 routes to city but not far to walk to bahnhof anyway. Good breakfast and loved the coloured hard boiled eggs. Shared kitchen great to heat up food purchased at bahnhof. Room a good size and bed comfortable. Quiet location. Good control of temperature in room. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it to other travellers.
