The room is nicely designed, with beautiful double-panelled windows, interesting royal sun design on ceiling, carbed stone wall in bathroom. Bird on ledge next to bathroom was a great touch! Bathroom has a warm, aesthetic feel. Overlooks main entry way for pilgrims on Camino de Santiago. Decent breakfast offered. Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.

Great attention to detail, whithout being stuffy our pretentious. One felt at home and confortable. Newspapers are available in the reception area and books in the lounge, and drinks are available in the mini bar of the room free of charge. We had dinner one night at the hotel and enjoyed it greatly. We overheard quite a few clients mentioning that they had been there before and were planning to return.

The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The building and decor were very attractive. The food in the restaurant was of a very good quality and the "menu del dia" in particular was very good value for money. - Everyt
